What problem does Curvalux solve?

We have a patented proven revolutionary antenna design that dramatically improves the performance, scalability, and efficiency for Fixed Wireless Access services.

With just one antenna, we can connect hundreds of users, 10 times faster using significantly less power. Our innovations enable telecom operators to extend services to remote areas that are not being currently served thanks to the longer range, faster deployment and lower costs.

Tell us about yourself?

I have over 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur in the telecom and satellite sector. I’ve seen firsthand how technology can bridge social, economic, and political gaps. I see broadband as a human right and it’s as important today as access to clean water.

With the pandemic, we all experienced firsthand how this can affect quality access to education, information, healthcare, I wanted to bring this know-how and the technological innovations that Curvalux has created to the fixed wireless industry and connect the unconnected more cost-effectively and using less energy. I want to help close the digital divide.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Wow, if I could go back a couple of years before the Covid pandemic exploded, I would tell myself not to underestimate the invaluable need and right for everyone in the world to have affordable access to broadband internet.

I would tell myself to move swiftly and aggressively to introduce our technology that can have a transformational impact on the lives of potentially billions of people around the world.

What problem does your business solve?

Curvalux has innovated various technologies that help ISPs (internet service providers) and MNOs (mobile network operators) extend their serviceable footprint well beyond what they currently can achieve.

And our solutions achieve this at a lower cost and using much less energy with very minimal investment in our clients’ current infrastructure.

We hope that this will contribute to providing affordable access to those communities without broadband internet.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

Did you know today in 2022 that almost half of the world’s population does not have Internet access?

That’s nearly 4 billion people and counting who cannot work, get access to healthcare, who cannot study online and are virtually cut off from the rest of the “connected” world that have access to crucial information every minute of the day.

Connecting these unconnected souls across the planet is Curvalux’s mission.

What is your magic sauce?

Quite frankly, our satellite expertise and experience allow us to think more differently than our competitors to solve problems. Satellites are not easy. Succeeding in that industry is amazingly complex.

Satellite solutions involve bleeding-edge technologies and are required to operate in the harshest environment imaginable and deliver essential services for many years. You get one chance to launch a satellite and it has to work.

As a co-founder of Curvalux, my partners and I bring this zeal for innovation (sustainability and affordability) from the satellite industry to the fixed wireless industry. This comes out in our solutions – we think and deliver differently.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

Reinforcing reaching new segments through innovation. Our plan is to expand Curvalux’s offerings beyond just fixed wireless access, using the same innovative ethos to dramatically improve the efficiencies and capabilities of mobile networks around the world.

Today, you can find Curvalux solutions powering the internet lives of people in North America, South America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

In 5 years, you will see Curvalux reshape the next evolution of mobility and applications through the incredible speeds that it will be able to deliver to mobile devices.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

It’s simple to get in contact with us. Simply head to our website at Curvalux.com and if you like what we’re doing and want to know more, send me an email or connect with me on LinkedIn. We are always interested to hear from operators, service providers, system integrators, municipalities, or anyone who has a requirement for highspeed broadband access.
